Can I take Vagus+ while still on omeprazole or lansoprazole?

Yes. Many customers begin the protocol while still taking their prescribed PPI. The two do not interact problematically. The recommended approach is to start Vagus+ with breakfast a few hours apart from your PPI, and continue your medication as normal for the first six weeks before considering any reduction .Any reduction should always be discussed with your GP first.

How long before I notice a change to my reflux symptoms?

Most customers notice meaningful changes between weeks three and six. Some notice early changes in the first two weeks - often a general calmness or improved sleep before the digestive symptoms shift. For silent reflux and LPR symptoms specifically (cough, throat clearing, hoarseness), expect a longer timeline - often six to ten weeks before those symptoms meaningfully improve.

I've had a chronic cough for years. Could this be related to my reflux?

Does Vagus+ contain anything that might irritate a sensitive stomach?

The formula contains no fillers, binders, or common irritants. A small number of customers with highly sensitive systems find two capsules causes initial sensitivity - in these cases, one capsule daily is a valid long-term approach and still produces benefit. Starting with one capsule and building up over two weeks is always recommended for anyone who describes themselves as gut-sensitive.

Does Yona contain any allergens?

Yona is free from major allergens including gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, and shellfish. It's manufactured in a GMP-certified facility in the UK with strict quality controls. It is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The capsules are made from plant cellulose, and all ingredients are sourced from non-animal sources.

Is Vagus+ suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

Vagus+ capsules are HPMC (plant-based). All ingredients are suitable for vegetarians. However, Gut Barrier+  (our companion product for mucosal barrier support) contains serum-derived bovine immunoglobulin and is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians. Vagus+ itself is fully plant-compatible.

What happens after 12 weeks?

Yona is designed to help your body rebalance and become more resilient over time, not create dependency. Most customers use it consistently for 12 weeks, then adjust based on how they feel. There is no requirement to take Vagus+ after 12 weeks unless you need occasional support during stressful days. 

What's the difference between Vagus+ and Gut Barrier+? Do I need both?

Vagus+ addresses the nervous system signalling pathway, it's the starting point and the foundation of the protocol. Gut Barrier+ is a second-phase product designed for structural mucosal repair, introduced at around week 12 once Vagus+ has had time to establish. For most reflux customers, beginning with Vagus+ alone for the first twelve weeks is the recommended approach. Gut Barrier+ becomes relevant once the nervous system signalling has begun to stabilise.
